I would say our house is mildly to overly obsessed with the Olympic summer games. If you have missed any of the events, have no fear, our trusty DVR has captured every moment. Our other summer favorites like The Mole, Jon & Kate Plus 8, Project Runway and the classic Friends have had to take a back seat to clear the way for hours after hours of Olympic coverage.
Some of our favorite moments after week one of Beijing:
When the Chinese girl fell off the balance beam during the all around gymnastics.
During synchronized diving , when a commentator yelled "Tidal Wave!!!" when a Canadian diver made a slightly larger splash than expected.
Michael Phelps 100 Fly: He is Superman!
When Kerri Walsh found her lost wedding ring in the sand volleyball court.
Nastia & Shawn winning gold and silver while Alicia Sacramone was answering fan mail on facebook.
Things we are looking forward to: white water canoeing, speed walking, cheering for Tyson Gay in the track and field.
