the 417 things we like about fall....

this is the first chapter in the long installment of the things we all love about this season. According to Rach's calculations, each roommate would have to come up with 83.4 reasons....so maybe we will work with what we've got, buckle up:
(in no particular order)

1. Football (Ohio State, Navy, Red Skins, other cute NFL players)
2. Windows open (Down side: school buses, the scooter rental store next to us, and the garbage men yelling at 5 am twice a week)
3. Being able to use the heater in our bathroom after showers
4. Sweatshirts- ahhhh
5. Pumpkin patches (see photos from last year)
6. Soup
7. Planning our Christmas party (maybe one roommate enjoys this more than others...)
8. Halloween decor up Oct. 1 (Downside: creepy door decoration sounds like a creature clawing at the door)
9. Front porch sitting
10. Long walks around the Naval Academy stadium (Plus side: minor sweating)
11. Coffee/hot tea in the morning
12. Candles in every room, particularly Passion Fruit Guava (Downside: frequent scares that we burnt the house down from leaving it lit)
13. Our shows are back: The Office, Grays, Molly has a dozen other that she won't let us publish, Project Runway finales
14. Bird decor is finally in (We totally started that trend)
15. The new Target opens soon! (Plus side: other grocery stores are stepping it up, ie the cool new scanner guns at Giant)
16. McKendree late night dance parties that involve less sweating
17. Scarves

18. The mini pumpkin candy corn (Downside: Giant seems to have signed a deal refusing to sell these)
